Top Outdoor Experts in the World

When we think about adventure, we usually think about going to Hawaii or unwinding on one of the beaches in France or Spain… but adventure for these guys is something completely different. So, join us today as we uncover the 7 Most Fearless Wilderness Experts on the Planet. Let’s jump right in, people!

#7 Cody Lundin You might know him from Dual Survival… the Discovery Channel show focusing on two friends that are left under the blue sky to fend for themselves and survive using only the items they can find in nature. If you don’t think this guy is prepared, just watch how he is actually laughing in the face of that rattlesnake cobra when his partner couldn’t actually catch it. The man is one of the teachers at the Aboriginal Living Skills School in Prescott, Arizona. The school was founded in 1991, when Lundin was only 24 years old. And he even wrote two books all about survival. “98.6 Degrees” and “When All Hell Breaks Loose” is where you can find most of the knowledge that Lundin has been sharing with his students.

#6 Les Stroud Man, his life took a serious turn during the 90’s. He was born on October 20th, 1961 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. He initially pursued a music career, but then had a change of heart. The man was even studied Music and Art in college and then worked for the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic. His life turned around when he became a Black Feather Wilderness Adventures guide. He was leading canoe excursion all over the vas Ontarian wilderness… and he fell in love with it! He used his experience from the filmmaking and music industry and he created his very own television show titled “Survivorman”. This is the most of us know him for!

#5 EJ Snyder If you want that macho, manly and butch wilderness guy… look no further. He grunts, he yells and he kills prey with his bear hands using nothing more than a stick. That’s EJ “Skullcrusher” Snyder people. And if you want to see more of this guy, you can visit his YouTube channel where he posts survival videos and tips on making it through the wild and then SMASHING THAT LIKE BUTTON IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO ALREADY! He has appeared in numerous shows, the most famous of which is Naked and Afraid. Plus, all of those 25 years of military service are actually serving him good. It’s the military the made him pursue a career as a survival expert.

#4 Coyote Peterson Coyote Peterson is the guy behind the famous wilderness- based YouTube channel, Brave Wilderness. His videos have millions upon millions of views and he even has 17.2 Million Subscribers. Why does he have this? How about voluntarily getting stung by the Giant Hornet, or the Cow Killer, The Tarantula Hawk and even a Bullet Ant. This guy is fearless in every sense of the word.

#3 Jeremy Wade He’s been most famous for his hit TV show “River Monsters” which aired on the Discovery channel. What’s the show about? Well, the name says it all, he’s looking for incredibly big and dangerous fish, and he’s not afraid to get down and dirty. He even went to the Northern Cap of the World in order to fins the Ice- Cold Killer. “River Monsters” is not the only show that Jeremy has appeared in, he was also featured in Jungle Hooks, Mighty Rivers and Dark Waters. Not to mention, he has even written books on a special fishing technique called angling.

#2 Bear Grylls You’d think that it couldn’t get any worse than this guy, but you haven’t seen out top pick. When it came to deciding, we were really close to choosing between Bear Grylls and Steve Irwin. Why was the choice hard? Well, how about the fact that Bear actually ate a raw Yak eyeball, drank his own warm urine that he carried around in the sun in a snake’s skin, performed an enema on a raft, dove inside one of the coldest rivers in the entire world and squeezed elephant poop straight into his mouth… just so he could extract some bacteria infected water… if that’s not fearless, we don’t know what is!

#1 Steve Irwin And it doesn’t get more fearless than this. The man is actually called the “Crocodile Hunter” or the “Crocodile Man” for Christ’s sake! He was always looking to find some of the craziest animals to show on camera… and he actually even loved snakes. He might be the only person that does. I mean, who likes snakes?! His love for the wild began when his parents bought a wildlife park. Irwin fell in love with animals and the rest, as they say, is history!
